NIACL Assistant Syllabus 2024 and Exam Pattern

NIACL Assistant Selection Process 2024

The selection of candidates for assistant posts is based on candidates’ performance in the preliminary and main exams. The preliminary exam is qualifying in nature, and the final merit list of candidates will be based on the total marks obtained by candidates in the main exam. Candidates who qualify in the Main Examination will be shortlisted for the Regional Language Test, which is qualifying in nature, before the final selection.

NIACL Assistant Exam Pattern 2024

The NIACL Assistant Exam 2024 will be conducted in two stages. The first stage will be the preliminary exam, and the second stage will be the main examination. The preliminary exam will be qualifying in nature, and candidates selected in the preliminary exam will be able to appear in the main exam. The marks of the main exam will be considered for the final merit list. Both the exams will have different exam patterns. The detailed exam pattern for both exams is given below. 

NIACL Assistant Prelims Exam Pattern 2024

NIACL Assistant Prelims is the first stage of the NIACL Assistant selection process. Candidates can check the below-mentioned points and the table for a detailed exam pattern.

1. All the questions will be objective-type questions.
2. The exam includes three different sections, i.e., English language, reasoning, and numerical ability.
3. A total of 100 objective-type questions will be asked for a total of 100 marks.
4. The total duration of the exam will be 1 hour.

NIACL Assistant Mains Exam Pattern 2024

NIACL Assistant Mains is the next stage of the second stage of the NIACL Assistant Exam selection process. The candidates who qualify in the preliminary exam will be able to appear in the main exam. There will be 5 subjects in the main examinations, which are English Language, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Computer Knowledge, and General Awareness. The details for the main examination are given below in the points and table.

1. The total duration of the exam will be 120 minutes with a sectional timing as discussed below.
2. The questions in the exam will be objective-type questions.
3. The mode of the exam will be online.
